In a heartwarming display of global citizenship and compassionate activism, a group of determined students from Booker T. Washington High School in Houston, Texas, has set out on an inspiring mission to Zimbabwe.

We've learned the group composed of 16 students and eight adults from Booker T. Washington High School left from Bush Intercontinental Airport to make the trek to Zimbabwe.**PREVIOUS COVERAGE** A group of engineering students from Booker T. Washington High School are hoping to raise $51,000 for an international trip to help improve infrastructure in Zimbabwe. On Saturday, they're hosting their first major fundraising event.

This student exchange and the humanitarian project are in partnership with a college in Zimbabwe that doesn't have access to purified water or electricity.
