Green buses, green buses, green buses. Do they want to make their asthma worse? Carbon capture, captured carbon, etc - reducing pollution Mexico, USA, etc
The picture that accompanies this article is 20+ years-old and is of a place not near UCLA. It is probably cheaper to use ride-sharing from off-campus than to pay for parking on-campus, but if this is a “lazy millennials” story, I’m not buying it.
No shit
It’s partially because available student parking is inadequate and expensive.
RE:... but all that traffic, still doesn't equal the 1% use of private jets, or all the pollution from China and India... Is that what the article says because I don't pay to read articles?
Decrease tuition Increase enrollments.... Endure growing pains. Free college has no value
As it should be! It’s their future they deserve whatever they cause. Rt
Until we, as a country, get serious about public transportation this will never change.
Smart kid
Nope. Most ride the Big Blue Bus 8 😒
Broke college kids.
Maybe they should stop exhaling as well. I mean with only 12 years left, every bit of carbon we can control we should right?
I went to school there- we rode mopeds to get around
Rich kids.
So students should bike or walk, but everybody else can drive?
There is this thing called a bicycle that I used to get around my college campuses...
LMAO
If you guys got everyone on horses again you'd be complaining about the environmental impact of the poop. Liberals. 🙄
This should be outlawed at once. Let students experience where their politics will lead.
Must be a huge campus. I'm sure they aren't simply being lazy.
They need to go to class?
Uber and Lyft are racist.
Is UCLA just now realizing they need to improve transportation in their campus and help improving public transportation in LA?
Invest in infrastructure then
Instead of guilting the students, maybe UCLA could provide or increase shuttlebus service?
UCLA is a really small campus...it takes less than 10 minutes to get from one side of the campus to the other.
If you think that’s bad you should see New York comedians trying to get from open mic to open mic
