Bellevue student Rebecca Wu's Google Doodle contest submission. BELLEVUE — A talented Bellevue student could soon have her art featured on Google’s homepage as part of a national contest put on by the company., where K-12 students across 55 states and territories were asked to answer the prompt, “I am grateful for...” through their art.

Rebecca Wu from the International School in Bellevue was selected out of thousands of student entries to be the Washington state winner, and now her work will move on to the national competition. The competition is divided into five categories: Grades K-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, and 10-12. Rebecca’s art is featured in the Grades 6-7 category.Sometimes I love them, and sometimes I dislike them very much, but I can’t imagine my life without my sisters. I have learned to be a little bit more patient with them, and they have had an enormous impact on me. We help to inspire each other and to help each other grow like the vines and flowers in my picture.
