A school bus loaded with children has crashed on Melbourne’s western fringe.

A truck and a school bus with more than 20 children onboard has crashed on Melbourne’s western fringe.

The Country Fire Authority confirmed it was called to a collision involving a truck and a school bus on the suburban border between Exford and Eynesbury – just south of Melton – with multiple people trapped at 3.43pm. The CFA said it was believed the bus had more than 20 children on board and around six of those were trapped.Ambulance Victoria confirmed they were called to an accident at Eynesbury, about 3.45pm. Multiple people are being assessed.More to come.
