If I hadn’t been praised by my teachers childhood would have been pretty bleak as I got v little positive attention at home.

I think they a can be good. My Daughter is dyslexic, she can't ever win the writing competition or the reading competition, but she is regularly recognised for her commitment, work ethic and personal progress. This drives her to do better.

For F's sake-suicide rates among those under 25 are skyrocketing world wide. It is a dearth of support, empathy, hope, & good will young people suffer from. Enough punishment for minor infractions, enough unrealistic expectations in schools. Start teaching positive reinforcement.
