The University of the Philippines Diliman campus emerged as the top education institution in the country for 2023, based on the independent metric-based ranking website Edurank.
The website said it ranked the top 100 universities in the Philippines based on research outputs, nonacademic prominence, and alumni influence.“The rankings are determined by analyzing 373,000 citations received by 30,400 academic publications made by 229 universities from the Philippines, the popularity of 889 recognized alumni, and the largest reference database available,” Edurank said.
Among the courses with the most publications and citations in UP Diliman are in the field of engineering, chemistry, physics, and environmental science.
