A total of 500 community farmers will be trained to help feed pupils at selected schools in the area.The first step will be to supply hundreds of thousands of eggs.
"It's really focused on improving nutrition for students, it focused on eggs which is a source of protein," Tembe said."It's to develop the community but also to make sure the learners have access to this protein and they can take home and also share with their families." Tembe said the idea was to make sure that the quality of nutrition is improved, but also to involve communities and learners.
