Bomb threat at Stellenbosch University, Rooi Plein evacuated

Students of the Stellenbosch University today received messages to avoid Rooi Plein due to a bomb threat.

An all-girls PSO member at the university supplied the message: ‘IMPORTANT: There is currently a bomb threat on campus. The Neelsie and Rooiplein are being evacuated. Please stay off campus today until we hear news. Stay safe swans.’
