Labor splashes out on swimming lessons - 9NewsAll primary school children would have access to swimming lessons under a future Labor government, in response to a spate of summer drownings. 9News Haha so what about schools that are hundreds of km to the nearest pool? We had mandatory swimming lessons as kids through primary school every week was fantastic. It should be part of the curriculum We had mandatory swimming lessons at school when I was a kid in the 80s. There is nothing I hated more at school, not even corporal punishment.
