Sherman Bynum, a student at Camas High School in Washington state, rented a World War II Stuart army tank for his prom on Saturday, raising $1,000 to rent the rolling relic through GoFundMe.

A crafty Washington State teen made quite an entrance at his high school prom over the weekend — rolling up in a World War II army tank.

“I made some phone calls to a group in Minnesota that rents battle tanks out for use, like for films and stuff,”Washington State teen Sherman Bynum and his pal Sam Tetro, made quite an entrance at their high school prom on Saturday, rolling up to the Portland Art Museum in a World War II-era Stuart army tank.“And so we called a museum in Oregon,” he said. “They didn’t have anything but they got us in contact with a guy. Talked to the guy and within about 15 minutes we had a deal worked out.
