Due to the extremely hot weather prevailing in this province, the Catanduanes State University adapted the hybrid learning setup.

Over the past few days, Catanduanes experienced intense heat ranging from 42 to 44 degrees Celcius.

An April 21 weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services said they have recorded 13 areas in the country under the “dangerous” heat index, including Catanduanes with 42 degrees.Catarman, Northern Samar – 44 degreesDavao City, Davao Del Sur – 42 degreesMasbate City, Masbate – 42 degreesTayabas City, Quezon- 42 degrees
