The parade kicks off at 11 a.m. Sunday to celebrate the Super Bowl win by former Vineland High School and Rutgers star Isiah Pacheco.

“It’s an honor to my family and I that the city of Vineland is having a parade for me,” Pacheco said. “It’s important to me because I grew up here and the person I am today is because of Vineland. I love the city and the people there.”.

“This community rally will be an opportunity for all of us to offer our congratulations to our hometown hero upon achieving his dreams of becoming a World Champion and for being such a wonderful ambassador for the City of Vineland,” Fanucci said.in the 2022 NFL Draft, Pacheco emerged as a key player for the Chiefs. He became their starting running back, helping them win the Super Bowl by rushing for a touchdown in the third quarter in the game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“The success of Isiah Pacheco means so much to the City of Vineland and Vineland High School,” said Dan Russo, Pacheco’s high school football coach. “To see one of our own have so much success at the highest level is so exciting for our community. Everyone is so proud of Isiah.”
