DeSantis has directed the chief inspector general to investigate the Disney board’s move and vowed to take additional revenge against the company through legislation.

Classroom time is valuable and students test scores are sinking fast. Teachers must use that precious time to give students a good basic education. Wasting time discussing sexual orientation or gender identities won't help students.
Why can't you just say the actual name of the law instead of what critics call it. I don't remember you calling the affordable care act the 'we lied to you about everything we promised care act'.
Why reference the term the critics use? Either use the proper name, or reference both terms. Otherwise you reveal that you are biased.

In all fairness, since it prevents classroom instruction of all orientations/IDs , and since there are statistically more straight people, it would be more accurate to a call it “don’t say straight”. But that would be less sensational.
Please read. Then comment. The rule change would ban lessons on sexual orientation and gender identity from grades 4-12, unless required by existing state standards or as part of reproductive health instruction that students can choose not to take.
