Irish teachers are moving to Australia because the pay and conditions are more “lucrative”, a secondary school teacher in Dublin has said.
“Great opportunities and I always said as a country, we’re great at educating people but, at the same time, we’re just as good at getting them to jump on the next boat or plane”. “You kind of feel that you’re in a tunnel to be a teacher in the education system at the minute,” he said.OzTeach founder David Trainor mainly helps place teachers in Victorian schools and said there is increased demand for the organisation’s service.
But there's big ass spiders. Fuck that!
derry_group PaulGosling1 Says it all really.
Maybe, you lot should try leaving them, easily replaced, isn't that what you want?
Sounds amazing, why doesn't everyone just move there and leave the Island of Ireland where nature will flourish once more.
Plus there’s not having to live in your car.
dublincomments Hard to blame them, better working conditions, pay and work life balance abroad. Australia gets our well educated young people and we get African and Asian 'engineers and doctors' 😭😭😭
Thank you for your service newstalk, this will encourage Irish people to stop leaving.
