Letter: Religious education in Saskatchewan consistent with democracy

at several Christian private schools in Saskatchewan; and believe the government must vigorously root out these behaviours.discussing this matter. Namely, the implication that religious education is at odds with the very principles of democratic society.

More and more these days I encounter this rather strange attitude that the very notion of democracy requires absolute conformity to the cultural zeitgeist. That, if you would, any difference from the currently accepted cultural zeitgeist is a threat to democracy.
