neric16 Not before it's due either. I was always a little ostracised in my state school in Byron, due to attending non scripture, where we would basically sit and draw... massive waste of time. Scripture should never be in mainstream state schools. Brainwashing right cant be everywhere.

My kids don't participate. We wanted them to have access to an academic subject instead, but it's not an option. So they sit in a room and draw instead. Surely they can at least provide an academic alternative.
Some children do not have any access to religious studies in their homes. Surely school RE is important, information is power, the same as other subjects.
Thank Christ! Letting the kids have a sleep in one day a week would be more useful.

That's right, the scripture inteferes with the important lessons such as sexualising the girls at a very young age, bombarding the boys with gay propaganda and let's not forget the transgender agenda. Not religious just wide awake.

It was only ever a sop to the religious right. In the same bucket as the chaplaincy program. Families have the absolute right to inform their kids re religion but it is not the responsibility of public schools!

Secular education is a must. There must not be religious indoctrination in any School that receive public funds
