A man allegedly forced a female student into a dorm room at a New Jersey university where he assaulted her for “hours,” Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said.
The attack is considered an act of domestic violence, as Moore has no affiliation with the school but is known to the victim, prosecutors said. Schipper added that the assault was an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the campus. He is being held in Morris County Correctional Facility pending a pretrial detention hearing on Monday, April 17. Attorney information was not immediately available.
