Tentative deal reached to end Los Angeles teachers strike

The unions narrative re: reduced class sizes is shameful. The unions asks clearly centered on salary raises, stipend increases, and mandates for new union positions. The new class size ask is the same for K-3, and 11-12, and one less for 9-10 and a cpl less for the middle grades.

Funny, a rich blue state doesn't want to pay teachers a decent wage.

If the LA school district was a private business it would’ve been out of business decades ago. Yes, that’s how shitty it’s run. But just like the post office, it doesn’t have to preform we’ll to say afloat. If private schools had public school results they’d be shamed out of biz.

Don't come begging to the Fed (our tax dollars) when your state completely collapses. You don't have the money and your taxes are already though the roof.

Public school teachers would not need to consider striking if fewer Americans valued public education instead of holding public schools and public school teachers in contempt.

Why are these children being held hostage by these liberal unions?
