A group of researchers from the University of Washington think their community-based prevention program could help reduce the number of kids who die from gun violence.

Margaret Kuklinski, a co-author of the research paper, said her group mainly focused on prevention programs in rural communities across seven states. About 24 communities reached out to Kuklinski’s group to be included in the study.

Kuklinski said the program is effective because it keeps kids involved in the community and away from guns.

Oh you mean we can make an impact by positively affecting the daily lives of people and not infringe on anyone’s rights? What a concept… unfortunately it makes too much sense for anyone to actually consider it

Just as you guys germinate the idea that guns commit violence (as if they have motive and sentience, although if the police do the violence you blame the cop, which is proper, and not the gun, i.e. 'gun violence') you push other foolhardy ideas like men giving birth.

Once again as I say it over and over again , another mass shooter at the expense of the USA lawmakers , the 2nd amendment needs to be revised , talk is cheap until one day sooner than later it may be your loved one gunned down .Wake up for the sake of your life and loved ones

Slogans always work.

That sign is so true: “Protect Children, not Guns”. GunControlNow schoolshooing ProtectChildren from guns. Wake up Republicans

It's going to take a community to come together to save it from destruction. The federal and central government does not care.

Not encouraging people's insanity and mental illness would be a good start... But keep blaming the hammer, not the hand and im sure it'll work itself out. And maybe start prosecuting gun crimes instead of letting those democrats go without bail?

So basically take care of mental health and give kid’s opportunities and they are less likely to shoot people. I could’ve saved them a lot of money and time if they had just asked

By marching them around in sandwich board signs?
