This started with the forced dropping of the team name ‘Clansmen’. Of course, Clansmen is a Scottish term and nothing to do with a racist American group who used all K’s. But don’t let the truth get in the way of a mob mentality overthrow. This is the slippery slope, folks.

Team sports are an important component of the higher education experience, both for athletes and for students who get into the spirit of it. Very short sighted move by SFU to not reinforce teamwork. They could play in Canada.
