Cryer also declared for the NBA draft while maintaining his college eligibility last week. Players can enlist the services of an NCAA-certified agent and keep their eligibility as they go through the pre-draft process. Players have until May 31 to decide if they'll keep their name in the draft or return to college.

Cryer came off the bench as a freshman on Baylor's national championship team in 2021. He missed 15 games with a foot injury the next season, but still averaged 13.5 points and shot 46.8% from 3. In what could have been his final final game with the Bears, Cryer scored a career-high 30 points in the second-round NCAA Tournament loss to Creighton last month.
