That’s despite evidence Black boys benefit the most from having a Black teacher, says Lisette Partelow, of the Center for American Progress. “Having both male and female teachers,” she says, “is likely good for students for the same reasons that they benefit from a racially and ethnically diverse teacher workforce.”
Can't blame males for opting out of teaching K to 12. Are susceptible to being accused of inappropriate if not illegal behavior. It's too risky.
