PARADISE, N.L. — Twenty-eight teams from across the province are competing in The Royal Newfoundland Regiment Memorial High School Hockey Tournament from ...

• Queen Elizabeth Pioneers, C.B.S.The invitational tournament, which has been running since April 2016, is run by a board of directors made up of former members of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and other volunteers.

The tournament aims to commemorate the regiment's 228-year history of military service and esprit de corps. The regiment has a rich hockey heritage, which dates to the First World War.More details will come soon on the opening ceremony on April 28 and the closing ceremony on April 30. The tournament also includes a skills competition, daily 50-50 draws, a kit shop, recruiting display and more.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
