Other speakers included U.S. Reps. Sheila Jackson Lee and Al Green, Houston NAACP president Bishop James Dixon, advocacy group leaders, parents and students.Ron Castro, a teacher at Eastwood Academy, was among the first people to arrive on the grassy lawn outside the south Houston high school.
