The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Nlerum Sunday Okogbule, while highlighting the achievements of the institution, yesterday, in Port Harcourt said the satellite campuses would boost social and economic activities and improve development of host communities and their neighbours.
The state government had noted that the establishment of the campuses will open up activities, create employment and reduce unrest. He disclosed that the institution has secured full accreditation for 24 courses by the National University Commission .
