A member of teaching staff at a North Lanarkshire secondary school has been arrested after female pupils were allegedly 'upskirted' with a mobile phone.
The 28-year-old man was reported to police following the alleged voyeurism incident at Greenfaulds High School in Cumbernauld on March 28. The man has been temporarily suspended by education bosses after the allegations came to light, reports Daily Record.North Lanarkshire Council confirmed they are assisting authorities with their investigation. The man has been released by police pending further enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 28-year-old man has been arrested and released pending further investigation following a report of voyeurism which occurred on Athelstane Drive, Cumbernauld on Tuesday, 28 March, 2023.
