Biden calls for Congress to pass assault-weapons ban after Nashville school shooting

President Joe Biden on Monday reiterated his call for Congress to take action on gun control following a shooting in Nashville at an elementary school.

Biden’s remarks came during the start of his speech at a White House event, the second annual Women’s Business Summit. Before Biden’s comments, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said the president would be reiterating his call for Congress to take action on gun control after the Nashville shooting.

“We need to do something. Once again, the president calls on Congress to do something before another child is senselessly killed in a preventable act of gun violence.”

This needs to be handled by the states. California and states others already have bans on Assault rifles.California has the most laws in place today, yet it’s the 2nd highest firearm mortality rate in the US. The truth is, we don’t have a weapons issue, we have a cultural issue.

Democrats blame republicans but controlled house, senate and Oval Office and did nothing for 2 years.

So typical. The democrats are blaming republicans for inaction on gun safety, but democrats had majority in house and senate and had the presidency and did nothing to ban weapons or require registrations.

Why did Biden let out a major arms dealer for a basketball player ?

What? After he first joked that he is Dr Jill Biden’s husband and he heard there was ice cream? He is one demented inappropriate president.

What the hell is wrong with this people? Why would they kill kids? Govt must Take action on gun control as soon as possible.
