Tyler Greening, 18, has been released on bail. Two of his teenage co-accused are having their bail hearing this afternoon while the third male teen's hearing has been delayed while he seeks new counsel.

Mercer granted Greening bail after hearing evidence in the case and submissions from prosecutor Lesley Pike and defence lawyer Bob Buckingham on Friday, March 17.In general, judges overseeing bail hearings must assess whether the accused is likely to attend court as required, whether their release would cause a public risk, and whether their detention is needed to maintain public faith in the justice system.
