Parents outraged over Cape school's book 'rent' scheme | IOL NewsParents of pupils at Northpine Technical High School are furious after they were informed they would have to fork out R1000 to rent textbooks for the year. I thought it was normal to pay a fee to rent textbooks in schools, the teachers would publically shame those whose parents hadn't paid and you wouldn't get textbooks until they did pay the fee.
