INDIANAPOLIS — A teenager died Sunday after being shot on the west side near Ben Davis High School, according to IMPD.
Just after 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning, officers responded to 862 Chapelwood Blvd. on a report of a person shot.Upon arrival, they police say they found a"young male " with gunshot injuries. On Monday, the young male was identified as 16-year-old Corey Duncan. According to IMPD, Duncan was in critical condition but was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.Anyone with information about this incident should contact Detective Christopher Edwards at the IMPD Homicide Office at 317.327.3475 or by e-mail at Christopher.Edwards@indy.gov
