Innovators, Investors, and World Leaders Will Converge in Silicon Valley to Discuss the Future of Africa at the African Diaspora Investment Symposium Africa

ADIS23 will feature panel discussions, networking opportunities, keynote speeches, and side events covering a wide range of relevant topics that are critical for the growth and development of Africa. Discussions will focus on diaspora engagement beyond remittances, climate change, digital transformation, ESG, healthcare infrastructure, among others.

The symposium will also recognize exemplary individuals who have made remarkable contributions to Africa and the African diaspora community through the Barka Awards and the African Diaspora Luminaire Awards. This year, the Barka Award will be presented to Dr. Amadou Alpha Sall, the CEO, Institut Pasteur de Dakar in Senegal, for his leadership and contribution to healthcare development in Senegal and Africa.

This year's symposium, which is the first in-person gathering since the pandemic, is sponsored by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Sanofi, United States African Development Foundation, Invest Barbados, Hugh Stuart Center Charitable Trust, Conrad N.
