Alex van den Heever from the Wits School of Governance says the conduct of healthcare workers during this strike is very concerning.

Four years ago, President Ramaphosa said he'd trim his Cabinet. Fast forward to 2023, and it has ballooned. The President reshuffled his Cabinet last week, adding two new portfolios and more Deputy Ministers. Governance expert Alex van den Heever spoke to eNCA.

JOHANNESBURG - Public Sector Strike | Nehawu members ordered back to work "Strike and actions of workers on strike have been unlawful and harmful to the health system and to patients," he said. "The conduct is concerning, [it] suggests a widespread culture of disregard for the most vulnerable people in South Africa."
