Opinion | New rules for high school students should prove a plus for much-needed trades trainingEdward Keenan: New rules for high school students should prove a plus for much-needed trades training Bloody hell. LOL This is not new news. There has always been OYAP. Most kids won't be dependable. Just ask any CO-OP teacher. Sorry this was a slow news day. However, the ALL kids must take tech is new. Problem, there is not enough tech teachers for these new sections. Cheap/free labour, with cuts in “redtape”, meaning lax safety rules and professional standards! Bonus! More cuts to education funding. Win win! Don't be fooled by the propaganda. Cons don’t do anything for public good. It's to cut costs and maximize profits.
