undergraduates face a $74,028 cost of attendance in 2023, the result of a 5.7% tuition hike over the last year, according to the private institution.

“At Rice, we pride ourselves on providing affordable opportunities for gifted students from all backgrounds to attend one of the nation’s top private universities,” President Reginald DesRoches said. “Through our financial aid program, The Rice Investment, students from low- and middle-income families are given this opportunity to showcase their talents and develop their skill sets in a closeknit community that is committed to undergraduate education and a highly personalized experience at Rice.
