A fourth man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man allegedly gunned down on his doorstep.
Three men appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court earlier this week charged with Mr Canney's murder. Today, police confirmed a fourth man, aged 27, had been charged. He was due to appear in court today. Yesterday, Martin McCusker, 38, made no plea at Greenock Sheriff Court to the single charge of murdering Neil Canney.
