NBCLA's Conan Nolan reports. beneath Ruben Flores' back deck, said they found indications the soil had been disturbed in a way similar to a gravesite.when the Flores were arrested, indicated investigators at the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department had biological evidence indicating Smart was once buried under Ruben Flores’ deck behind his home in Arroyo Grande, about 12 miles south of the college campus.

I n a few years a “compassionate” judge, parole office, or governor might let him out because of “old age.” The fact that he got to spend 30 years breathing free air with no consequences after he murdered a girl in cold blood won’t matter. After all, it was just another female. San Luis County has been sleeping on this case and it took someone’s podcast for them to finally solve/convict their primary suspect from the beginning which is the man pictured. I hope he’s found guilty and the family can finally have some peace of mind. RIP Kristin. Life sentences are cruel and unusual punishment. Capital crimes deserve capital punishment. The death penalty is a deterrent to murder.
