Lasalle Secondary student Ty Chauvin has overcome a few health challenges and he hopes to inspire others with his newly published cookbook

Ty Chauvin enjoys cooking, and he’s produced a cookbook that serves up not just food, but resilience.

This cookbook, however, is about so much more than Chef Ty’s personal passion. It contains the reflections of a resilient young person determined to achieve their goals. Ty’s story unfolds from the first page to the last through heartwarming photos from his childhood, endearing notes from his family, friends and health-care providers, and wonderful wishes from a team of supporters.
