Chalkbeat apreporting Do you really know that half of all students are behind due to COVID challenges? How much testing was done beforehand and how much additional help was available pre COVID? I've watched our conservative provincial government in Alberta hurt education before COVID hurt us all.

Chalkbeat apreporting Oh my gosh there is no such thing as being behind in learning- they were going through a traumatic event & it’s taking longer. They will be ok stop pathologizing normal responses to things.

Chalkbeat apreporting A lot of brand new turf athletic fields in my neck of the woods.

Chalkbeat apreporting I love tutoring dumb kids

Chalkbeat apreporting in 10 years, my website will replace public schools, and you can thank the pandemic for that.

Chalkbeat apreporting I’ve no idea what my district did with the money. Plus asking for a mil increase again.

Chalkbeat apreporting Allah's ﷻ wrath. The opinion of Muhammad Qasim bin Abdul Karim is from a vision in a dream where Allah ﷻ was angry at the Muslims and their punishment is severe and difficult from Allah ﷻ. To know more visit the website or search ‘Muhammad Qasim Dreams’

Chalkbeat apreporting Because of news outfits like AP who forced closed schools

Chalkbeat apreporting Break up the teachers unions and you will get better students

Chalkbeat apreporting E learning set my son back so much. He did 2/3 of his kindergarten year on an iPad. Barely learned anything. My wife and I are fighting like hell to get hin more services, but the school district forces us through so many hoops. Reading at a K level yet almost done with 2nd G

Chalkbeat apreporting High School students will not stay after school to get help. The day is already pretty long. You fix this by reducing instructional minutes & build in tutoring / advisory periods into the school day. However, teachers need more collaboration time to make it work.

Chalkbeat apreporting people in the ap news comments are the reason im giving up

Chalkbeat apreporting All the oceans of money went to handouts to their cronies. Not students. Or teachers. Not for protection from Covid. Or additional schooling. It was a huge mistake to hand out our hard-earned tax dollars and our kids’ future earnings like candy with no strings attached

Chalkbeat apreporting The money is NOT going to the teachers to pay them to tutor. Or to hire more teaching assistants to support students. And believe me, the need is high. The money is going to superintendents and school boards, etc. Complete bullshit.

Chalkbeat apreporting I'm thinking that the phrase 'Schools have received billions of dollars in federal COVID relief' lacks precision. Who got the money exactly? State governments? School boards? Who were the checks made out to?

Chalkbeat apreporting There are also a lot of parents that need 'tutoring'.... 😂

Chalkbeat apreporting Conservatives are anti education. So, there’s your 50%.
