PUBLISHED 3:19 PM CST Mar. 07, 2023SAN ANTONIO — Although many consider Latin a dying language, it's alive and well at Clark High School. Mr. William Lee has been teaching Latin in San Antonio’s Northside ISD for the last 20 years.
“I choose Latin because I heard it would help me with my English,” Lee said. “That kind of was the draw for me.” Mr. Lee was recently named 2023 National Language Teacher of the Year by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
