ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The RNC’s criminal investigation division is investigating a violent assault at Prince of Wales Collegiate in St. John’s. On Thursday, March 9, just before noon, RNC officers responded to a report of an assault that had just occurred at the high school on Paton Street. A 16-year-old boy sustained serious injuries and was taken by paramedics to the Janeway hospital for treatment, the RNC stated in a news release.

The RNC has assembled a major case management team to investigate the incident, and request any witnesses, or anyone with video footage, to contact the RNC.
