Did the suspects stop when they saw John Matthew Salilig dying in pain while they were hitting him with a wooden paddle? This question was met with prolonged silence from Daniel Perry, the master initiator of the Tau Gamma Phi fraternity’s Adamson chapter.

Perry confessed they were all hitting 24-year-old Salilig on his legs.

“Wala po ako noon sa setting nung namatay si John Mathew, sir,” he said, adding he was only present during the hazing rite. “Anong ibig sabihin ng silence mo, ayaw mong sumagot, Daniel?” asked Tolentino, who was presiding over the hearing as chairman of the Senate committee on justice.

Not condoning this barbaric thing but the senatr should leave most if the questioning in the proper court. Now these suspects' lawyers can play technical in the future.

Sya lang ba ang only suspect? I'm sure hindi. Walang witnesses? Pwd ba yun?

Wasted lives. Might be high on drugs

Frats are fucking useless.

Sen. Jinggoy himself is a member of a frat that also includes hazing in its initiation. I wonder what his efforts are in trying to remove it from his own frat’s initiation rites.

Mga sadista. Ikulong lahat yan!

Frat members rejected suggestion to bring Salilig to hospital —witnessTau Gamma Phi members declined to bring Adamson University student John Matthew Salilig to the hospital after he suffered from seizure during the hazing rites, a witness told a Senate panel Tuesday. They should already prohibit this stupid hazing practices of fraternities. It should be a criminal law and put all the accused in jail. Its murder. I will never understand the logic why you need to hurt and kill a person in the spirit of brotherhood. That is complete BS. These members do not deserve to be in the Brotherhood and in our society. Rip them of membership in the Tau Gamma Phi.. I hate them because they murdered their very own brother!!! Expel them they destroyed our image!!!
