We are putting our staff, our emergency responders, and other students in potentially unsafe situations. I have met with our Upper Darby Education Association union leadership, and again, our local law enforcement. Our staffs are worn out trying to provide our students the best they have to offer. We need your support.
2. Physical conduct and fighting will not be tolerated. Students engaged in fighting will be brought to a hearing and removed from in-person instruction. 4. Students engaged in bullying and/or harassing both physically and via social media will be disciplined in accordance with our Code of Character
Most of the parents act the same as the kids and don't see nothing wrong with how their kids act. Respect or disrespect is taught at home.
How dare a school district ask parents to do their jobs. For years the parents have expected the schools to do this and there was never a peep. NOW they get an idea!

How come this seems to happen way more in areas with older housing and in districts with older buildings? Could it be the lead paint and lead pipes? Element no. 82 or Pb 207? A.K.A. lead (Sp. Plomo from the Latin Plumbum).
Imagine having to ask parents, to actually BE parents! What a sad generation of young ppl, with no discipline, self control, or parents who care!
Step up parents or the prison wardens will be raising your children.
They're not the only school. Every teacher everywhere is dealing with rude disrespectful kids who are not being taught manners at home. It's disruptive in the classroom and prevents any learning actually getting done. Then parents blame bad grades on the teachers
Just start suspending and expelling students.
What’s Upper Darby about 80% black? Which means about 40% of those kids in school are fatherless. Tough problem to fix. Good luck
The superintendent of this school along with the administrators is the reason for its downfall. Teaching CRT & UDSD’s social justice initiative did this. I don’t know why Dan McGarry is surprised. No one else is
Let's get a reporting on the restorative practices (justice) being used everywhere. Schools everywhere are getting worse. This is not the cause, but is this actually helping?
