'I left school in Salford at 16 - now I'm millionaire with a Lamborghini and a Cheshire mansion'

It’s a lifestyle most of us could only dream of. But there’s one mum-of-two who made that dream a reality – by turning her beauty business into an aesthetics empire.

Despite her success, the mum says she’s been stalked and suffered horrendous online abuse over the years. And it was during her time in the band that Maxine got her first taste of the beauty industry – glamour, beauty, TV and a love of looking great herself. “It gave me discipline,” she said. “It empowered me. I was in a male dominated world and I earned a place within it. It transferred onto every area of my life.

Though the course was for exclusively for beauty therapists, Maxine explained she’d just studied anatomy and physiology at university so bosses agreed to let her join the course. Once Cosmetic Couture was born in 2010, Maxine had a clear vision from the start about how to create a pathway for others into the profession – with the company going on to be voted the Best Training Provider in the UK in The International Aesthetics Awards 2022.

Proof money can not buy taste. Her house (for sale on Rightmove for over a year) looks like a typical house of a salford chav who has won the lottery. Tacky is an understatement. And her shop in same village looks more like a front for a money laundering business.

So have loads of people, even more people ended up in a dead end job. What's the point of this headline?

Got out of Salford quick

Does she want a . . .

Free advertising for Maxine…..

I just had a poo and now I feel like a millionaire

A great success story , but don’t a lot of kids leave school at 16 ?

Good on her. People succeed in different ways

No news day

Nothing to dislike here …. She works hard she is dedicated. The rest is noise. And yes its ok to leave salford and become a successful or stay in salford and become successful. Many many folk have left their provincial towns to go find success in london … whats wrong?

Left school at 16 in Salford. Definitely started peddling drugs before investing 😂

The person leaves poverty but poverty does not leave the person.

There’s over 4 million children living in poverty in this country and this is wait you report on?.

Does the onlyfans account not count in this story 🤷

So is the story you have to leave Salford to make a success of yourself?

Big house in Cheshire, expensive cars etc etc.. is that how success is defined these days with material goods? I was always taught success is defined by personal happiness & wellbeing. These people never seem happy or contented. What a poor role model.

Glad you are happy . But having an expensive car and a millionaires lifestyle wouldn't be for me

Another enthralling article by the MEN

So, you can't buy class then...

👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

I love how we say “left school at 16” like it’s something controversial. Last time I checked kids are 16 in year 11.
