The NLESD says buses from Gladney's Busing, which had its contract suspended over safety and operational concerns, will be used by a different contractor when they hit the road this morning.

School buses belonging to Gladney's Bus Service parked in Portugal Cove-St. Philip's on Saturday. All routes suspended when the company's contract was suspended on Feb. 11 are now back on the road.ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District has reinstated all bus service that was temporarily halted in the St. John's region unexpectedly last week.

"The safety of our students is our primary concern, and all the required service compliance has been verified ahead of route restoration," reads the NLESD statement, which goes on to thank all stakeholders for weathering the service challenges and getting busses back on the road.
