So why would an international student get funding? They shouldn’t. Canadian students should. He should’ve been sent home if he didn’t have the funds to cover his schooling. The government needs to stop the way they handle student visas. It’s not a right.

When studying abroad, no funding meant you don’t stay. This is standard around the world. Would Canadian students be extended some kind of grace? No. Studying abroad isn’t a right. I fear we bring in so many int’l students and force them into poverty. Why? It’s exploitative.
