“We are asking the public to stay vigilant, keep the volume low if you are wearing ear buds, and if possible exercise or walk with a friend,” said RCMP Cpl. Christina Martin in a release Thursday.Pacific Spirit is a busy, popular park for joggers, dog walkers and families near the University of B.C. with many kilometres of trails throughout.

While mostly considered a safe public space, it is the park where Wendy Ladner-Beaudry of Vancouver wasA year ago, police arrested a man after a woman reported having her breast grabbed while she was jogging there. RCMP and Metro Vancouver parks said at the time patrols were being stepped up. Anyone who witnessed either of this week’s incidents is asked to call University RCMP at 604-224-1322.
