So you updated the story but no mention of it here or what you got wrong?

📢 Girls & women: You are always, always, ALWAYS allowed to say NO. Don’t let anyone tell you different, including and especially a national news show that should absolutely know better.

This was not bullying! He publicly asked a girl out, saying 'no' is a complete answer and does not make him a victim! The one doing the bullying is his mother.

What is wrong with you Are you kidding with this? She said no but he’s the victim? Hell no. This is a dangerous take.

Are y’all gonna acknowledge that y’all are wrong or what?

Yeah I like how you say 'publicly rejected' as if he asked her with an inside voice and she stood on a table and mocked him, when it was the boy's choice to make a public spectacle of asking her out. Try to imagine how humiliating that was for HER.

You are saying that it’s not ok for a girl to say no to a boy. That’s what this coverage is teaching. You should be absolutely ashamed at your coverage. This is why girls don’t feel safe. Absolutely appalling coverage.

And you already know that lil girl is gonna be bullied for the rest of her time there 🤦‍♀️

Today show, please, can we not villianize a teenaged girl for turning a boy down? Are y’all truly willing to support and ideal that men deserve to be coddled after rejection?

This is just fundamentally wrong in so many ways. Women literally get killed for saying no to men's advances daily. You are perpetuating r*pe culture. 'She should have worn that', 'She should have just said yes' are the things men say to justify brutalizing women. Apologize.

Yall need to rewrite this article and take it down. This is absolutely foul and vile

I'm so sick of society coddling boys for not getting what they want This is why we have men who murder women for saying no. This is exactly what this kind of behavior breeds. Now imagine all the toxic relationships she's going to be in because shes going to be terrified to say no

On this day called a girl who said no a bully. The Today Show has become part of the problem.

So ick! This article & whole situation is a misogynistic dumpster fire.

This is such a trash take, and the kids who tried to make him feel better by insulting the girl involved were failed by their parents.

You owe this FOURTEEN YEAR OLD GIRL an apology. Vilifying her, making it sound like she is a bully, because she said NO to a boy. SHE IS ALLOWED TO SAY NO.

Wow, you really don’t think women have the right to say “no”, do you?

GIRLS ARE ALLOWED TO SAY NO!!

Women and girls have the right to say NO! That girl did nothing wrong. Men and boys are not entitled to a yes just because they asked. 😡

No is a complete sentence. Teach your sons to accept it. Their status on the spectrum is irrelevant.

That girl had every right to say no.

He publicly put her on the spot and when she said “no” she was labeled as a bully. Do better, Today. Women and girls have the right to say “no” without being demonized.

She had every right to says no. She’s was not wrong and all you are doing with this story, is taking away a person’s right to choose who the spend time with.

Bruh I had no idea all the women rejecting me were just bullies!!!

You just called a girl a bully for saying 'no'. She does not deserve this!

Way to bully the girl who had the right to say no.
