Police tell CP24 that investigators believe the shooting took place outside Weston Collegiate Institute just after 12 p.m. “One student has been injured and their parent has been notified,” the board said in a message posted to Twitter. “Lockdown will be lifted shortly and students will be relocated to nearby Weston Memorial Junior Public School and CR Marchant Middle School.”
The victim was located at the scene with a gun shot wound, police say. They were then taken to hospital via emergency run.In October, just after students were dismissed for the day. One of them, 18-year-old Jefferson Peter Shardeley Guerrier, was later pronounced dead.

They will arrest a 16 year old and let him out before his 18th birthday. He’s gonna be more ‘hardcore’ then he was going in.
Toronto becoming an expensive slum. Thanks Justin!
Canada where never a safe country its just that the older generation wasn't that violent like this generation and as we all can see the government have no clue of what to do instead they banning guns on law abiding citizens.
Toronto crime saddens me!
No suspect info is a clear clue, I‘m afraid
Guns don’t walk into the country on there own just like guns don’t kill. Humans kill. We need better security checks on the border. Where’s the high tech companies.
This is getting sickening!! Every single day and no one is doing nothing. No one is safe anymore. What a shame.
'So far no suspect description has been provided'
Teachers “police” schools. While this practice was at one time effective, they are simply not trained to handle the current level of student behaviour. At minimum, security guards should also patrol halls, rather than solely teachers. This is not just a Toronto problem.
I guess this is the new trend now!!!! criminals are watching and waiting to target their next victim!! This is not going to end unless there is security where some kids actually go to educate themselves!! how many more murders will it take? or are they trying to copy the states
Canada is Broken
Liberal “hug a thug “ program working out perfectly. Maybe they should target organized crime.
As Toronto continues its decline, where's our leader?
'A student....', 'one person....' 'They'?.... Precision and consonance please.
Justin Trudeau's Liberal Canada has become a national nightmare due the Liberals putting Criminals First and the safety of Canadians last CanadasCrimeCrisis
It's time to start pointing fingers at the real problem! Who's the majority of the people doing these shooting crimes?
Get out of that City!! Run by Gangs!!
Most violent year on record at TDSB. 3 students murdered in the last year. Lockdowns are now a weekly occurrence. It’s time to bring back the School Resource Officer program! We tried the woke way, and it resulted in record high violence.
When is everyone going to get tired of this and make the TDSB do something significant for our kids' safety
Only going to get worse thanks to the Liberals, well done…SeanFraserMP
A tragedy. Had the federal government spent resources addressing youth issues and gun crime rather than harassing farmers and hunters through OIC and Bill C-21 we might not be where we are today. This is on marcomendicino and JustinTrudeau . They own this.
Kids are just getting more and more violent with every generation, but, of course, when this dies down everyone will just go their daily lives.
You didn't want police in and around schools again...why?
This is all because we let Police officers be in schools!
Excellent detective work . Columbo would be proud .
A few years from now when things are even worse we will look at the early 2020’s as the time of the fall of Toronto
Welcome to chicago.
Dieversity continues. Keep them coming, Justin, until there's not a civilized bone left in this country.
