What will it take to make inclusive education work? I think integration is great, but it doesn't work for everyone, and in those cases 'segregation' is not a bad word. Of course not. School is poor enough with large class rooms and excruciatingly dull material and methods. I feel for this mother, truly. However, is it fair the the other children to put them in harms way & have their learning interrupted because of another? No. In these cases, perhaps special classrooms with appropriately qualified teachers should be considered.
