SINGAPORE — To provide more inclusive education offerings as one of Singapore's mission schools, the Anglo-Chinese School (ACS) will operate a special education (Sped) school in partnership with Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) from 2026.

the new school will cater to the growing demand for students with moderate special educational needs who have autism spectrum disorder and can access the national curriculum."With access to resources and cutting-edge Sped pedagogies, we aim to contribute to the upliftment of special education in Singapore,” said chairman of the ACS Board of Governors, Mr Richard Seow Yung Liang.

It will then relocate to a permanent campus at Tengah, which will tentatively be ready in 2031, next to the upcoming ACS , which is moving from its current location at Barker Road to Tengah in 2030.“We are truly appreciative that our constant discussions with MOE over the years have culminated in this humbling opportunity to serve humanity in a new way.”

"This achieves a more inclusive educational offering as one of Singapore's mission schools,” he said. Chief executive of MWS, Ms Junie Foo, added that the partnership aligns with MWS’ values to empower people.
